i'm not sure how to describe this other than to say it's really good... i don't know if it's a bologna thing (bologna as in italy), but this sounds an awful lot like mimes of wine who were from the same area... which also sounds amazing and used to sound like nothing i've ever heard before until i came across this little gem by listening to a track that was on a midfinger (the label mimes of wine is on) compilation they had up... this ep is a little more on the electrical/technical side though and at times the singer sounds as if she's channeling karen o's odd punky accent... maybe i should look into more music from the same areas in italy, because if this a common thing, it's a scene i'll definitely remain into.
